Be careful when blowing into the peep hole so that
you don't get a blow back and burn eyebrows or eyelids.
I stand slightly to the side and blow in.

You can also blow any loose brick dust into the kiln, causing schmutz in th=
e bottom of pots. It's verboten at my kiln.
