I attended the opening for "Tea Time", an exhibit of functional teapots and=
cups
at the NC Pottery Center. It is a very nice show and definitely worth seei=
ng.
I highly recommend going to it if you can. Here is a link to the informati=

One thing that was very much in evidence. Potters frequently comment on (a=
nd
lament) the low prices NC potters charge for their work and that is the cas=
e for
this exhibit. $45 for teapot? There are multiple examples in this exhibit=
and,
of course, they sold as soon as the doors opened! Maybe that is the point,=
but
how can it be worth your while?
