Good to have another to add to the book- here is mine..
equal quantities of beeswax and olive oil, heat gently in a bowl over hot
water. I add lavender flowers for the healing, Peppermint leaves or oil
would be good too. Then strain through muslin when infused enough (it
doesn't take long). It will be very stiff like this, so as it cools beat in
enough water to produce a creamy consistency.
Good for parched hands or face.

Here is a homemade hand creme recipe I got a long time ago from Toni
Martens in Durban South Africa. I had lost it, but in doing spring
cleaning I stumbled upon it again. It really works for me and my
household. Hope you enjoy it and it works for you.
250g Baby Talcum Powder
200 g Petroleum Jelly
2 Fl Oz Glycerine
2 Fl Oz Eucalyptus oil
Mix all ingredients thoroughly, and use a spatula put back into jars for
storage.
I found this works for me. I like the smell, though some don't. It's not
perfumy like a ladies powder or hand creme.

Hi Gwynneth, all,
The combination of Bees Wax, Olive Oil, and, a dab of maybe Carnauba for
Summer use if in a hot clime, or Lanolin, also, for any Season or Clime, so
long as it is only a dab, is also about the finest Black Powder Bullet Lube
any boy or girl could want...as well as being a very fine pre-emptive Hand
Cr=E8me for preventing desiccations of the Skin due to excessive Washing or
working with Water all the time.
Used properly, as a Bullet Lube, as by saturating strips of regular Paper
Towel and cutting
those then into small 'discs' with a Gasket Punch, which 'discs' then go
between Powder and
Ball/Boolit/Bullet, it allows say, a Remington New Model Army .44 or any Ca=
p
&
Ball Revolver, or any Metallic Cartridge Black Powder use in any Revolver,
to have no hard fouling, or about no fouling whatever, permitting indefinit=
e
Shots without binding or impeding build ups of combustion by-products or
other related sorrow.
And, permits very easy clean up later, too.
Provided the Bullets are appropriate size for the Cambers and the Bore, it
also sees to it that no
Leading will occur even with using pure Lead, and, even when velocities are
well into the low teens of FPS ( as
they are with the longer Barrelled BP Revolvers, for example ).
Probably be good for Leather Shoes or Boots, also.
