On the question of spraying wands I use a standard
2.5 gallon cheap garden sprayer. I get the cheapest
ones with the plastic wand and discard the wand.
It has a flange that fits on with a knob. From an auto supply
store I purchase a couple short lengths of brake tubes. Each one has=3D20
a flange that will fit the garden sprayer. You can take along
the plastic one to compare. Next, as James suggests, I close the
end of the brake tube by hammering it flat. Finally, I drill a hole
perpendicular to the tube close to the end with a 1/16 th inch drill.
This allows the spray to shoot in two directions at right angles to
the tube and allows rotating for good spray angles. The steel resists
the heat well, especially as it is cooled with the water. I keep=3D20
several tube on hand as they are easily replaced should one clog. Also,=3D2=
0
you can get longer lengths so you don't have to get real close.
