Thank you again to everyone for all their tips on fixing my glazes. It
appears to have worked like a hot damn!!!!! It is amazing how just 1% -
1.5% bentonite can make all the difference. I mixed up the bentonite in
water in a blender first. 113 grams in 3 cups of warm water seemed to be
perfect. Waited 24 hours and then added it to the glazes. They immediatel=
y
responded to the bentonite and have been great since.

My kiln is sooooo too hot to open but I hope to see how everything worked i=
n
a few hours.

One glaze appears to have too much bentonite. I will need to sieve this
particular bucket of glaze as there are tiny globs floating on the top whic=
h
I will do this weekend.

How can I tell if a glaze has too much bentonite and are there any solution=
s
for that?

Regards,

Lisa
