I'm back from the NCECA Conference, the bags are unpacked and sorted and I =
=3D
just finished folding a load, with more to come. Between greeting the dogs =
=3D
and vacuuming I'm starting my written followup to the conference. I have a =
=3D
long list of thank you notes to write, etc., but I thought I'd start with a=
=3D
short report to Clayart readers. Around my duties as President at the conf=
=3D
erence I poked my nose in the Clayart room twice. I greeted Mel and met Bil=
=3D
l S. for the first time among other members. I hosted a meeting in my room =
=3D
with Mel, Bill and Josh Green, NCECA's Executive Director and Patsy Cox, ou=
=3D
r President Elect. The meeting was positive all around, and although we did=
=3D
n't make any hard progress we did decide on some initial steps to take in o=
=3D
rder to move forward in our relationship as organizations. A highlight for =
=3D
me was stopping in to drop off a mug for the exchange. While I was there I =
=3D
saw in intimate program going on concerning china painting and ultimately r=
=3D
eceived a nice 'endangered species mug' from a Clayart contributor in the e=

xchange. the energy felt great!
