Free silicon carbide beams
Hey all,

A friend of mine has access to approximately 100 silicon carbide beams wh=
=3D
ich=3D20
are 2" x 3" x 75" long and about 1/4" thick. They usually cost $350 each =
=3D
but he=3D20
has them for free. Someone would just need to get them out of the shop i=
=3D
n=3D20
the next 10 days. 7000 pounds of them. So either someone has to pick them=
=3D
=3D20
up or pay shipping. It is in central Arkansas.

He says that they can be used to span some stilts and then your shelves c=
=3D
an=3D20
rest on those beams so no center post. Do you know anyone who could use=3D=
20=3D

them? He hates to see them trashed.

Let me know if you are interested or know someone who is and I will give =
=3D
you=3D20
the contact info. Maybe someone in Arkansas/Texas/ western Tennessee=3D20
could just drive over and get them?

It needs to happen quickly though, in the next 10 days because they want=
=3D
=3D20
them out...=3D20=3D20

Take care, johnbrittpottery@gmail.com

Alas; As good as these appear perhaps for wood grates, perhaps cut in =3D
half; I can't drive to Arkansas to pick them up. Any woodfirers out =3D
there?

Cheers, Hank in Eugene=3D

Great idea Hank. They can be cut with and would make excellent grates. H=

some Texas wood fire folks could get them. Maybe David H. would know fol=

Texas , Gary Hatcher, the Denton folks, etc.
