Glad you are feeling better, Mel.=3DA0=3D20
wondered, why the silence.
Always good to have your perspective on keeping the clayart room
a group that shares comraderie, information and joyful, meaningful times to=
=3D
gether.
I would like to suggest, if not too unwieldy, that if we do any other new e=
=3D
vents in the clayart room, that it include
some sort of fundraising event to keep that room running (food, drink, paym=
=3D
ent for room, if necessary) or for needy=3DA0ceramics students.--if you wan=
t =3D
to get into that discussion.
=3DA0 I know many people contribute goodies that they buy and bring for all=
t=3D
o share in the clayart room. Perhaps a "piska" or pot of funds for necessit=
=3D
ies to keep us in food and drink that we can enjoy together, if not to shar=
=3D
e.
I will throw this out to the clayart world for ideas and comments.
Thanks for your help in that warm and wonderful place to be---the clayart r=

oom!
Warm regards,
Susan

Hello Mel, Susan and everyone!
Mel, being on day 13 of whatever it is I've got and beginning to see the
light of day, I think I can "get" what you have experienced. I'm so =3D
happy
you've recovered and are back with us all!
I have been known to go "off purpose" myself, and am always grateful =3D
when
cooler heads prevail.
Susan's idea is great, I think. I have been a Seattle area resident for =
=3D
the
last 11 years and look forward to having NCECA and Clayart here near my
home. It's amazing, but I've never gotten on a plane to get to the =3D
NCECA
events I've attended over the years - Oakland, San Jose, Portland, and =3D
now
Seattle. If I can be of service regarding the Clayart Room, whatever =3D
that
service may be, you have only to ask.
Thank you.
