let me get my brain in order before
we talk about seattle.

but,
here are a few points.
the clayart room will more than likely
be in the convention centers from now on.
and, in most cases those are nice rooms.
all we get is chairs and tables...and a garbage
can.
that is all i ask for. and i have told folks that
most any room will do...we just need a space.

we do not need a collection of money.
i don't want to handle it, or spend it.
this should always be a free will, come
as you are, all welcome place.

i appreciate those that want to help.
but, send it to japan and help some
potters in need.

we sent a thousand bucks from the
clayart fund.
acers took care of that.

i hate collected money issues. it is the road
to hell, paved with barbed wire.

Got it! You have the history to prove all you said.
Those who contribute to the room by buying goodies....
will continue.
The money is best spent using our own charities.
Be well.

I was lucky enough to arrive in Seattle the Saturday prior to NCECA to =3D
visit with my sister-in-law and her husband. Sunday the mountains were =3D
out and beautiful! From a high point in Everett, where they live, you =3D
could see Mt. Baker all the way around to Rainer. It was short lived =3D
but beautiful. I lived in Issaquah, WA. for 9 years before moving to =3D
the Midwest. My favorite NW camping spot is on Orcas Island about 1/2 =3D
way between Moran State Park and Doe Bay.

Peace,
Allyson May
