Hello
I am doing some testing of Glossy Base 1 from MC6Gin =3DA0Bright Sky Blue o=
n =3D
cone 6 porcelain.

I have increased the cobalt to 2% and I still am getting a soft medium powd=
=3D
er blue. It is a nice color but I want the Bright Sky Blue on page 95.

I am using the suggested firing schedule in the book.

I have also tested the Glossy Base 1 in Variegated Blue and it seems fine.

Thanks
Linda

Hi Linda,

Iron and rutile are know to dull colours - try without the iron and =3D20
lower the rutile a bit - but be aware - rutile contributes to the =3D20
stability of our glazes.
