interesting "performance art" piece

A young Colombian "performance artist" recently exhibited a deep and
meaningful piece in which he tied a plastic garbage bag over his head, then
stood barefoot in a bucket of water while holding a chain in one hand and a
leaf in the other. This. of course, as anyone can plainly see, is to tell
us about life in Bogota. Obviously. The young artist began to breathe
irregularly, then swooned and collapsed to the ground, all of which the
audience assumed to be part of the performance. Obviously.

You can guess the rest of the story. Five days in the ICU before taking
that final bow. I guess he should have just walked slowly around a pile of
salt instead. Much safer.

Bonus: His family is suing the university where the performance took
place. It's obviously their fault.
