We still have some space left for our 2 full day workshop with Welsh=3D20
potter, Phil Rogers, on August 22-23, 2011. Monocacy River Pottery is=3D
located =3D20
near Thurmont, Maryland. We are still taking deposits and will cut the=3D
=3D20
enrollment off at 25 participants. We are following Phil=3DE2=3D80=3D99s r=
eques=3D
ted =3D20
schedule for this workshop. This requires each potter to bring five or=3D
six=3D20
leather hard or bisque pots to the workshop. You can always bring a few=
=3D
more=3D20
and, if kiln space is available, we will include them as described below.=
=3D
=3D20
Phil=3DE2=3D80=3D99s most popular glazes, slips, and decorating stains wil=
l all=3D
be mixed=3D20
and on hand for all to use.=3D20
We ask that the work you bring can be finished with your own banding=3D20
wheels (if necessary) and your own personal tools. Both throwing and han=
=3D
d=3D20
building techniques will be explored.=3D20
Phil will present slides, talk about his work and background, demonstrate=
=3D

Immediately after unloading, Phil will be available from Wales, via =3DE2=
=3D
=3D80=3D9CSkype=3DE2=3D80=3D9D
, to answer questions about your results and to look at the fired work.=3D
