fwd: moustery glaze!

Here's one I don't think has ever been discussed on ClayArt. I recently
decided to siphon off the excess water from my mystery glaze collection,
stir it up and dip a test tile. As I was stirring it with my electric dril=
l
mixer I noticed a terrible smell. Next step, sieving. As I cranked my
Talisman sieve I noticed some strings of matter. Without being graphic, I
eventually figured out that these weren't strings from my mop, but that a
mouse had met his maker in my mystery glaze bucket. Now here's the real
question...nowhere in this mess did I see any bones. Where did they go?

Not really likely. In glaze or clay slop that sits for a long time,
bacteria multiply and create skins or strings or blobs of bacteria by-
product. Micro-poo, in a word. That is probably what you have. My guess,
anyway.
