I am tearing down a used soda/salt kiln in Sewanee, Tennessee, and have
right much hard brick that could still be used by somebody. I also have
some old mostly half-bricks (soft fire brick) that was from an old reductio=
n
kiln, fired to cone 10. If anybody has any use for these soft or hard
bricks, please contact me, since I hate just throwing them all away. Clair=

Be careful about re-using salt/soda bricks. They can look ok, but sometim=

John and other knowledgeable people,
What about using old salt/soda bricks up high on a kiln chimney where
there is much less heat? That would be OK, right?
