Although I do not know where to find "A Potter's Portfolio" by Bernard
Leach (as requested last week), one other book by Bernard Leach books and
one more about Bernard Leach are currently available. They are "A Potter's
Book", by Bernard Leach, and "The Leach Legacy, St. Ives Pottery and its
Influence" by Marion Whybrow. The are both distributed in North America by
Gentle Breeze Publishing and are therefore available at many Gentle Breeze
dealers including Axner Pottery Supply.

If anyone is interested I just got a 1980 Bernard Leach retrospective
exhibition catalog
which was shown at the Ohara Museum in Kurashiki- sort of a sister
museum
to the Mingei Museum in Tokyo. It traveled throughout Japan as well.
A large exhibition with masterpieces loaned by British museums and
collectors one year after his passing. Essays in Japanese andEnglish by
Janet Leach, John Houston, and Yoshiaki Inui.
All listings for pieces, chronology, and bibliography are in both
languages.
140 color and 64 B&W photos which are of sketches mostly. A few photos
of
Leach inthe front and back- one with Hamada.
Hard to find- good condition- $70
