i have been very impressed with `virtual xp` on this
win7 pro system.
it sure has made the transition to win7 easy and free
of concern.
the virtual xp stays in hibernation until you call it up.
the screen is classic xp pro and all the systems work
just fine. all of the old software loads and works just
like normal. so, this is a dual os machine. both are working
like a charm.
i am slowly turning over all my hardware and software to
the new machine while using the old machine as backup.
it is one of the things that many of you who are considering
upgrading may want to consider. i know losing old reliable
software was one of the things that kept me from this
upgrade.
we all have to learn new systems...and we do. but, often
a major change means a great deal of time and work.
and, for sure...clayart has to be a consideration when i make
changes...i can't just dump it like a copy of win95. and, old
address books and systems can be lost in a heart beat.
and thanks to those of you that have posted me off-line and
given me great information on how and why.
and, think of how the `connection` of clayart has changed
how many of us approach clay, making and chemistry.
not to mention computer savvvy.
