Plaster has it's usefulness in the studio and school situations when
students are taught how to mix, use and care for plaster correctly. Even fo=
r
making throwning bats. But I believe that one must always have a bat to
throw on is handicapping from the start. A student needs to learn to remove
thrown pots from the wheel head. To find an idle student in a throwing clas=
s
saying they can't throw because all the bats are taken is inexcusable.

HEY!!!

I LOVE MY BAT PINS! I LOVE THEM SO MUCH I HAVE EXTRA!! I still have
to secure my zillion year-old bats with clay, but it's so much
easier with bat pins! UP WITH BAT PINS!! ( two !!s)
I like apples, too.
