ego NCECA?
Do any of you have a memory of a flux rich strontium matte that had a
beautiful iron response? The glaze came to us as a shared glaze group
during the San Diego NCECA. A woman passed out glaze samples of cone 6
reduction glazes and it was included among them. It used strontium Carb.
rather than calcium or barium for the effect. (It is not the Pinell matte.)
It runs in rivulets like a wood ash "irabo" type glaze. It is not the Pinel=
l
matte.
