I am a long time lurker and wondering if anyone can help, I have looked i=

I have a problem with my porcelain casting slip I brought from a UK ceram=

supplier. I brought it in powdered form and all i had to add is water and=

sodium silicate.

5kg powdered slip
2.5 litres water
6grams sodium silicate 140

Now i only had sodium silicate 75 which they said would be fine, but the
slip is full of micro bubbles rendering it useless for casting.

I am guessing there is too much sodium silicate but really i have no idea=

.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am also currently stuck in the middle of rural france so my supplies ar=
