Assume you have a copper containing glaze that you really like
but in the leach test too much copper escapes.
Furthermore, assume that the glaze is not "runny".
That is it stays in place on the pot when you melt it.
Could you double glaze your pots;
first with the copper-containing glaze and
then with a stiff crystal clear glaze.
Sure, the surface features of the pot would change somewhat,
but would the clear glaze provide a barrier to leaching of the copper?
