les, dust and rocks.=3D0A=3DA0=3D0ASince I was working on the largest pots =

silica, some quartz including rosy quartz remnants, and=3D0Aturquoise.=3DA=

think we had about ten that would work... or so I=3D0Ahoped.=3DA0 The initi=

reatment worked pretty well; I'd brought=3D0Aa couple of small paddles thou=
gh=3D
I feared that a few of the=3D0Apebbles were too large and "Will do what?" =
my=3D
#1 asked, "aren't=3D0Ayou a potter now, a real potter?? Get Going.=3DA0 Do=
n't =3D
quit=3D0Awhen you're right at finding whether this will work or not!"=3DA0=

yway, we did this a few times before snow was threatening=3D0Aand we had to=

ive up the backcountry trips..... bisquing went ok=3D0A....... very, very s=
lo=3D
wly... but, as I recall, it was many weeks=3D0Abefore I thought the pots we=
re=3D
dried enough to risk them in a=3D0Abisque firing. AND 6 of the 10 survived=
a=3D
s I recall.=3DA0 All but 2=3D0Aof those had cracks but they didn't blow up =
as I=3D
'd feared they=3D0Awould. (later I did the same to a large plate, my first =
pl=3D
ate,=3D0Aand it did blow destroying all in my new baby Geil.=3DA0 Well,=3D0=

estroying it=3DA0 exactly... it was fiber-lined.=3DA0 Just needed=3D0Ato re=

Have you tried these on a white body?
Have you tried over a white opaque matt glaze? It would be fun to predic=

my
intention to poison my self; my specialty is Occupational and Environmental
Medicine.
