Experience a new perspective on glazing as Lynn leads this action-packed wo=

rkshop by exploring new ways to express your individuality through the glaz=

e process. She will demonstrate the process of using layered glazes, resis=
=3D
t methods and oxide brushwork to energize the surface of a piece. Lynn wi=
=3D
ll also go step by step showing participants how images, dreams and ideas a=
=3D
re captured and translated to the surface of a pot. Participants will have=
=3D
the opportunity to try some of her methods of glaze application on their o=
=3D
wn pots; however most of the workshop will focus on demonstrations of her g=
=3D
laze techniques and methods of working and developing new form ideas in wet=
=3D
clay.
Lynn Smiser Bower has been a studio potter for 20 years and recently reloca=
=3D
ted to Dallas, Texas. She has given many workshops throughout the US which=
=3D
include places like Anderson Ranch, Santa Fe Clay, Red Star Clay, etc... h=
=3D
