Hi All!
I have recently setup a home studio.....and already have some questions
(surprise!!!). Thanks in advance for your help!
I've been working with Laguna's R-2 clay and bisque firing it to ^03. And
then glaze firing to ^05.
I really like the colors and look that the spectrum low stone glazes (900's=
)
provide. BUT, the glazes have been crazing immediately after they come out
of the kiln. Anything I could be doing wrong in the firing process?
Can anyone recommend a better commercial clay body (good for throwing) that
will have a better fit with the spectrum low stone series?
Or maybe, a series of commercial glazes that are similar to the low stone
that will fit better with the R-2 clay?
