I do a fair amount of silk screening on tile with china paint, and I
don't think this is the answer to your problem. For one thing, the
tiles have to be VERY flat. Any warping or unevenness will cause
missed spots in the coating. Also, I don't think it's possible to
screen as thick a coat of glaze as most glazes require.
There have been some other suggestions, but in reality, if you want a
truly even coat of glaze, spraying is by far the best and easiest
method.
