I have some squirrel tail hair that I want to make into a brush. I
spent a while in the archives looking for a bamboo source and I didn't
find one easily. I happened upon a site that used the term Bamboo
Poles, so I typed that into Google (our dear and glorious leader) and
I found this site with some reasonable prices for smaller pieces.

If you can't find what you need there, here is page that lists a
variety of online sources
