To enjoy the benefits of this "luxury" item, one needs only to make a =3D
trip to the local machine shop. Get them to turn you out a disc of the =3D
desired diameter about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick, drilled to accept bat =3D
pins.

Once you start using this you will never go back to the lightweight =3D
aluminum wheelheads again. At slow speeds it will even out the jerkiness =
=3D
of the modern electronic controlled wheels, plus the weight just seems =3D
to make the wheel run better.

Another plus is that it makes the wheel seem to be more of a serious =3D
tool, and less of a toy.

When I was at Anderson Ranch, my friend Cory Levins made a wooden =3D
pattern and sand cast four bronze wheelheads and had them machined true. =

I love the way the 60# wheelhead takes the jerkiness from the wheel and =3D
makes everything ease up to speed and ease down from speed. And the clay =
=3D
pad I use to attach bats makes interesting colors with the bronze!
