I question the wisdom of putting plastic gas pipe in the ground at all.
Or anywhere for that matter. Here in N.Calif. PG&E the gas & electric
Co, that burned up 38 homes killing 8 people are having to go back and
replace all the miles of plastic pipe they installed years ago. Mike

Following on from Mike's comment; we're currently tracing a lack of pressur=
e=3D
in the gas line at our friend Ruth's Kiln site in SC, and been given the i=
n=3D
formation that the flex pipe laid underground to her kiln has poor flow cha=
r=3D
acteristics compared to conventional pipe in addition to being unsuitable f=
o=3D
r underground use!=3D20
All underground gas pipe laid in the UK has to be rigid by law!
