n. I'm getting use to him not being here and started getting ready for some=

holiday sales.=3D0A=3D0A=3DA0I got motivated when a couple, Regina & Ron M=

icz, from my Edsel Ford high school graduating class of=3DA0 '64 in Dearbor=

were driving around the U.P. and managed to find time to come visit the kil=
=3D
n and bought a couple pots. I told them they were my first tourists. She st=
=3D
arted getting our class together for the 50th. reunion by using Facebook. I=
=3D
was quite surprised to see someone trained in actually being able to analy=
=3D
ze a piece of art based on the educated principles we learned in our Art & =
=3D
Humanities classes. Back then everyone took the Art, Music, & Literature Hu=
=3D
manities program and some of us concentrated on making Fine Art and Crafts.=
=3D
We were told about composition, line, eye movement, focal points, proporti=
=3D
on, color, and the other half dozen or so "Rules of Art". They even gave us=
=3D
three principles of Japanese Art to think about ... the subject had someth=
=3D
ing from nature, there is an unusual point of view, and some sort of detail=
=3D
ed
craftsmanship. Back then I never heard "Be creative ... there are no rules=
=3D
!"=3D0A=3D0A=3D0A=3DA0Well, so that small sale got me hopeful enough to sta=
rt posti=3D
ng some pottery on my Etsy site again and I cut some evergreen boughs for C=
=3D
hristmas wreaths so I'll will have a few on sale after I practice on Mom's =
=3D
and my Daughter's wreaths. I'd also like to get the kiln fired off before t=
=3D
hanksgiving but I might end up waiting until I get more than the 2.3 cords =
=3D
of fuel I have on the racks. All I need to do is finish loading and fire bu=
=3D
