Hi,
I went to the Skutt webpage and found a conversion chart. C183 =3D3D 818=
=3D20=3D
I also found a KS Manual kiln operating manual. I will sit down and =3D
read this. I am sure that it will answer most of my questions. =3D20
Hopefully it works! I just need to get some kiln furniture, peeps, =3D
cones, etc. and I will be ready to start firing.

I recently acquired a Skutt 181, another variation on the small octagonal f=

orm.=3DA0 I opened up the=3D0Aplug and found an unexpected wire -- then the=

trol box and was quite baffled for several=3D0Aminutes.=3DA0 I eventually c=

uded that my kiln actually has 120 v elements, though it's a 240 v=3D0Akiln=

- and it used a neutral wire to provide the at-element voltages required.=

=3DA0 I do not know=3D0Aif yours works the same way, but mine will need to =
