On my first test I saw a muted pink red. I also had a thin application
on the test tile not knowing how much it would run. Beside making a
thicker application on the tile, I also tried a different ratio on the
tin / chrome also (I don't have my glaze book at hand 14/1ratio I think
but don't remember the Percent to base ) I got good results.
There can be another explanation if there are other pots in the glaze
firing AND those glazes contain Zinc. Zinc kills chrome pinks, high
percentage of Zinc in a glaze can volatilizes to cause problems.
