Sue Beach on fri 2 dec 11
Good Morning, ClayArt.
My kiln is firing a load of glazed work & in a little while I will go out
to the studio to clean and begin arranging pots for my annual sale. I've
fired my kiln at least 6 times in the past 2 weeks & have been working hard
every day to get ready. My show is the 9th, 10th & 11th.
I've mailed my postcards, sent out an email announcement, created events on
Facebook, updated my website, etc.
I'm almost ready. So now the jitters begin.
Will anyone show up? If they show up, will they buy? Is it worth the
work/time/electricity/heat? Will they like my work? Why do I put myself
through this?
I've done this for several years now & I seem to always get the jitters
about this time. Some times the sale goes great, sometimes not.
Anyway, if any ClayArters are in the Central Indiana area & want to stop
by, my show times & directions & all that are on my website (below). I'd
love to meet any of you. My work is not fancy - mostly functional & not
expensive - just pots for people to use.
