Hi,
The kiln I'm rehabbing has natural draft burners I can't get any data
on. Each has a plain 2" ID inch pipe leading to the ports, and a base
that flares out to 3.25" by the spud. The only markings are on the
shutter - "GA CO" and "LA AL" cast into the iron.
Anyone know any specs on these classics? Any positive or negative
experience? I'm wondering if my hopes for even reduction with such
antiques are fond.
Thanks for any insights.
Jeff

*G*as *A*ppliance *Co*mpany / *L*os *A*ngels *Al*uminum (?)

Hi Jeff -
GACO is Gas Appliance Company, located in Southern California. Those sound
like standard tube burners with GACO mixers attached, and they should work
fine. GACO has been around forever, and they make the MR-750 and MR-100
burners that are so popular today. I think that GACO still makes the mixer=
s
you have.
