A student of mine is looking into doing low-fire salt and soda firing, she
knows of Ron Meyers's low-fire salt-fired work, but would be interested in
hearing about others. If any of you know of people working in low-fire sal=
t
or soda, pleas either respond on-list or email me off-list at
vpitelka@dtccom.net.
Thanks -
- Vince

I believe Matt Kelleher(sp?) is doing some cone 1-3 soda stuff. Marty
Fielding did a residency at Watershed(?) awhile back and did some low-fire
soda stuff. I don't know any more than that!

If you take a look at the Pre and Post NCECA workshops, at the NCECA
2012 site, you will see there is a low fire wood/soda workshop by Ron
Meyers and Chuck Hindes listed. The dates were 3/21-3/24
Joan Klotz,
Venice CA.

Also the Alternative Firing book had a link.

Hey Vince,
My firing process is low fire salt/saggar with propane as fuel. I am happy
to help your friend/student any way I can.
The article by Soldner, posted by john b, is a great start.
