In the studio playing in the mud.
The only place I've played in the mud is southern New Mexico. Humid is
when there's 40% moisture in the air. Spent 45 years in Western NY
sandwiched between two great lakes. Dry was 75% humidity. When to trim/
work on the bottom? When the clay says it's ready. That's only
dependent on: clay body, type of work, weather on that day, position
of the sun in the sky, whether the stars are aligned properly......
I can hardly wait for the day I can retire and be able to play in the
mud every day.
