Hello potters
Could someone explain the difference between soda feldspar and soda spar?
Are they the same thing?
Thank you

Dear Phyllis Canupp,
I use an Australian Soda Felspar that has an assay of 10.6% K2O and 0,2%K2)=
.
My Australian Potash Felspar assays at 12%K2O and 3.0 %Na2O. Nepheline
Syenite 9.8% Na2O and 4.6%K2O.
Regardless of the name on the bag it is the Assay and the Mineral assembly
these represents which are important.
Best regards,
Ivor Lewis,
REDHILL,
South Australia
