When I attended a workshop several years ago there was another student from=

ansas City that had a trailing slip that she applied on bisque. I think she=
c=3D
alled it "Reeve's Trailing Slip." Does anyone know about, have a recipe or =
h=3D
ave experience with this slip? She was firing a porcelain body to cone 10. =
O=3D
r does anyone have something similar?

Try this, it's a recipe using UK materials.=3D20
SLIP FOR BISQUE
High fire: Parts By Weight
Calcined Kaolin.....50
HP71 Ball Clay (a very plastic clay) ...............50
Potash Feldspar...........90
Calcium Borate Fritt...10
I also have this one for around 1080oC
1080 or thereabouts PBW
Ball Clay..........................15
Kaolin..............................15
Calcined Kaolin...............20
Calcium Borate Frit.........20
Talc...................................15
Flint...................................20
Zirconium Silicate...............5
