On Thursday and Friday, February 5th and 6th, Chuck McWeeney will be
visiting the ceramics department at Western Illinois University. Chuck is
a sculptor and faculty artist at Ohio Unversity. The workshop is open to
the public. Chuck will demonstrate his techniques beginning Thursday
morning at 9:00, show slides after lunch at 1:30 and finish around 4:00.
There will be potluck dinner at my house that evening. On Friday Chuck
will finish his demonstration in the morning and work individually with
students and participants the rest of the day.
All are welcome, the workshop is free and open. Ceramics is located in
the Heating Plant Annex on the WIU campus, Macomb, Illinois. For more
information please call: (309)298-1549, the art office or:
(309)298-2102, the ceramics studio.

Any who can make this workshop, do. I've not met Chuck McQueeny,
but have seen his work and it is MOST interesting, definitely not
just more of the same. In both idea and execution, intriguing.
Sounds a good workshop, Gil.
