film, digital, movies...whatever.

some can see the image, find it at its best,
and most cannot.

the eye, the sense of timing is what makes
the great photographer great.

the great ones do not care if it is film or digital.
the great ones take great pix.

it would take 200 slides to make a great keeper 8x10.
it takes 300 digital images to make a great 8x10.
it is just that many take a 1000 images with digital
and they are all just like instamatic pix. i see them all
the time. junk by the ton.

and, i wonder why folks keep 400 images on their camera.
just my take...but i don't want a 2 inch square pix.
i put them all on my computer and look at them on my big
comp screen. then i know.

the good stuff goes on a disc or thumb drive and goes in
my safe.

i just burned about 2000 slides. went through them all
and threw out the junk.
saved the good stuff to disc...about 200 pix.
i threw out hundreds of pix of my dead son. can't look
at them any longer. kept 25. have them tucked away.

and i agree with snail...slide presentations are for the birds.
computer all the way.
