I'm thinking of getting into some kiln-fired glass painting. I've
been looking for some books on the subject, but I can't tell which of
them might be what I need.
It seems people paint on glass with kiln-fired paints like china
paints, some kind of stuff that's baked in an oven, and just plain old
acrylic paints. When I look on some place like Amazon, I can't tell
which of the books cover firing, and it's firing and cooling cycles
I'm most concerned about. And none of my local book stores (always my
first stop) ahave any appropriate books.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Paul Lewing

Early classics:
Glass Craft, by Kay Kinney
Kiln-Fired Glass, by Harriette Anderson
Newer books:
Contemporary Warm Glass, by Brad Walker (contains a chapter on painting)
Raku Glass, by Boyce Lundstrom
Boyce Lundstrom's book is especially intriguing.
