one of the big advantages that pod, xerox books
have is: no stock on hand.

i order my books when i need them. like 50 at a time.
it takes four days.
the giant xerox machine has my book stored in the
memory.
they hit...mel/print. 50 books roll out/collated.
about four people put them together in a few hours.
punch the spine,
plastic spiral spine inserted, a colored cover, stack into boxes.
done. he makes the dvd insert ahead of time...like 200.
small runs are not worth it in dvd production.
printing books means you have a garage full.
