This clear sounds like the one I use or pretty close to it. I had this
problem with my GREY BLUE slip when using it under this glaze. The
colorants in the slip are (I believe) cobalt l, RIO 2. I added more
cobalt and it got blue instead of black. I also use a dark blue (cobalt
5, chrome 1) and light blue (cobalt .75) and never had a problem with
those slips turning black.
