And it would be a good thought, John, except that these are glazes we have
used for decades, and we do not overfire. Remember that we are specificall=
y
talking about what happens when you put a shino over another glaze. For us=
,
the two shinos in that recipe list generally bubble if placed over another
glaze. None of these glazes bubble up when used by themselves or in other
layered combinations - only when we put the soda-ash-containing shinos over
another glaze. I hope that clarifies things.
