axner belly up? need axner wheel pedal help

Folks,
Tried calling Axner but all lines have been disconnected. Are they going =
=3D
out of business? We have several of their wheels and need to replace the =
=3D
"braided string" in the foot pedal. Has anybody done this before? Would =3D
appreciate any help and guidance.

Gee Scott, I just looked at their website, then called the 800 number.
Got the recording for which numbers to press.
They seem to be still in business.

A few years ago we replaced the string in an Axner wheel in the school
studio. Use 100# test braided nylon fishing line. For better or worse, I
could not find any in local sporting goods stores, but I stopped at a
fishing shop near the beach and they had some.=3D20
