Frank, have you tested the thermocouples to be sure they are
synchronized correctly to the relays? If a thermocouple senses that a
section of the kiln needs more heat and the wrong elements turn on, the
kiln will fire unevenly and stall.
Please let us know how you end up solving this problem.
Sincerely,

Make sure your sections are plugged in to the right receptacles. If you'v=

changed out everything possible- elements, thermocouples, thermocouple wi=

res,=3D20
etc., then you may be looking at a computer problem. That's not to say th=
=3D
at=3D20
there's something wrong with the computer necessarily. It may be getting =
=3D
some=3D20
interference somewhere. If that's the case, you may notice random jumps i=
=3D
n the=3D20
temperature readout. You'll have to sit and watch the kiln at the high en=
=3D
d of your=3D20
firing and see if it happens. There will be random changes to the tempera=
=3D
ture=3D20
readout for a split second, at random intervals. It's a sign that the com=
=3D
puter is=3D20
either getting interference, or it's worn out and should be replaced. I'v=
=3D
e seen it=3D20
happen both ways. The first thing to try is grounding the circuit board, =
=3D
if it's not=3D20
already. Run a grounding wire from the Center Tap on the circuit board to=

any=3D20
grounding screw in the panel. If that doesn't help, then you may need a n=
=3D
ew=3D20
computer.
