A few years ago I posted about using acrylic paints on fired pieces. I
mentioned that I knew Ken Price had made a practice of using such a combina=
tion
and I was interested to see if I could reproduce the effect.
By chance I decided to look up Mr Price and see if there was a description
of his technique online. Turned out he had a website. So I emailed him.
He answered.
So I asked him directly and he told me how he did it. (Many many coats, of
various paints, if I recall.)
Ken Price actually told me how he made his iconic work. Amazing!
Rest in peace Mr Price.
