Do you eat eggs? Or anything with eggs as an ingredient? Just curious =3D

Yuck??? Listen, it is just
manure from grass-fed cattle, thoroughly desiccated in the desert sun, =3D
and
then burned to a high temperature. How could there possibly be anything
harmful in there? After so long, your bonfired pots certainly do not =3D
retain
any of the burnt manure smell, and instead have that delicious soft =3D
gloss
that has resulted from the carbon impacted by the burning manure =3D
smothered
with more crushed manure at the conclusion of the firing.
Nope, Vince and Snail, your excellent and irrefutable arguments
notwithstanding, I'm still not touching it! I maintain a general rule =3D
not
to touch anything that has been in an animal's butt. Human butts too. =3D
I
don't discriminate!
I posted a snapshot of one of the blackware pieces to my Flickr page (
http://www.flickr.com/photos/jamesfreemanstudio/). You can click on the
image for a larger view. I believe the particular form is called a =3D
Wedding
Vase, but not certain. By the way, the piece just visible to it's right =
=3D
is
a woodfired pot by our own David Hendley, and the one behind it to the =3D
left
is a woodfired pot by Shane Mickey. I have touched both of those.
I'm not sure where our other blackware piece is. It was a round vase =3D
with a
concave neck, and stylized feather forms etched into the burnishing. =3D
I'll
photograph it if I can find it. Too darned many pots around here!
All the best.

Anita...
Sadly, yes, with some trepidation. I have developed certain ameliorative
and prophylactic procedures to remedy the problem posed by the bad joke
played on avians during the design phase of their unfortunate one-hole
anatomy. Also, I tend not to eat the hard, crunchy exterior of the egg,
which actually contacted the questionable environmental elements, though I
know, like potato peels, "that is where the vitamins are"!
All the best.
