i will let you dig out the answer to your question.
it is beyond my pay grade.

but, will you answer me this question:
`is there a relationship between creativity and the sexual
needs of 17 year old boys?` i was confronted by this
area of brain system psychology my entire teaching career.
never got a really good answer.

a teacher, not a ph.d. scientist.
all i have ever wanted in a kiln is
a system that works efficiently, with the
least amount of fuel, and makes totally
wonderful/racer pots. with nils' help we think
we have come up with some answers. we are very
proud of that. and, if you read nils' book, cover to
cover you will even know the `why`.

Mel-

Speaking as a person who was once, many moons and grey hairs ago, of great
interest to 17-year-old boys, I can tell you their sexual needs led to
great creativity!

Dear Mel,
You ask,
"is there a relationship between creativity and the sexual needs of 17 year
old boys?` "
Interesting question. Would it be based on your experience as a coach and
conversations with young sportsmen in the sports locker room? Peer Group
pressure will stifle growth of the creative spirit. You will find a better
answer in a book by Lin Bloomfield, "Norman Lindsay. Impulse to draw " ISBN
0-85835-555-8.
It was never raised as an issue when were writing the State Arts and Crafts
Curriculum Document. The Team assumed that Creativity was a universal trait
worthy of cultivation.

Please, may I have Nils Lou's e-mail URL There are some questions I wish to
ask, the answers to which might assist in giving a rational view as to why
his ideas are so beautiful.
Sincerely,
Ivor
