Hi Mel and Clayarters at NCECA,

I asked my daughter to make a list of great restaurants. She works in
Seattle and is a very good food critic. She also provided public
transportation guide.
Her schedule was crazy so it's a bit late but here it is for anyone who
needs it.
Let me know if you want me to print out some copies.

*General Public Transportation Information*
*
*
We have three types of public transportation in Seattle. Busses, light
rail and streetcars. You will not have to use the light rail or street
cars unless you are going to the SeaTac Airport or South Lake Union,
respectively. Bus fares range between $2.25 during off-peak hours and
$2.50 during peak hours (commuting hours). However, downtown Seattle, the
International district and Belltown are connected by the Free Ride
Area
where
you do not have to pay to ride the bus. This makes it slightly confusing
about when/where you have to pay your bus fare, but the general rule is
you pay fare when you enter the bus if you are going TO downtown, and you
pay when you leave the bus when you are going AWAY FROM downtown. Here is
the downtown Seattle bus
map.
Here is the map of the bus
tunnel..pdf>
