Lili,
I have been spraying glaze pretty exclusively for thirty years now...on =3D
my website, www.richardaerni.com , I've got a pdf file (thanks to a =3D
helpful clayarter, Donald Burroughs) under the "technical/aesthetic" =3D
tab, which shows how I built my spraybooth. It's cheap, effective, and =3D
I did it in a day. =3D20
Everyone you talk to who sprays will use their own system...I'm not sure =
=3D
one is better than the other, just that whatever works for you is fine. =
=3D
Me, I use a Gilmour handi-sand blaster (like a Critter, but a bit more =3D
refined and rugged), and a lot simpler to operate than the expensive =3D
spray guns. I'll try to remember to get the information from the studio =
=3D
and send it to you tonight. =3D20
Spraying has a learning curve, like anything, but most potters I know, =3D
once they've started spraying, never go back to another method. The =3D
results are more nuanced, and the feathering and overlaying of glazes, =3D
and subsequent effects, just can't be achieved by dipping and pouring.
Best,
