clay recipe for soda firing?

We fired a soda kiln for the first time on Saturday.
What makes a good clay for soda firing? There is a
little video on the blog if anyone would like to see how
the soda firing was done.

I find that most porcelain bodies do well in soda with the right flashing s=

lips applied over them. I'd find a porcelain you like to throw and then rel=
=3D
y on the slips to give you the desired surface you're looking for. At least=
=3D
